My name is John and I like to draw live at gigs. I like the challenge of working in a short amount of time, trying to capture the energy of a space and the interaction between the audience and performers. I publish zines of my drawings and thoughts, called Cartoons from the Pit. Profits from the zine raise money for charitable causes, venues and promoters.

The proceeds from buying a display cartoon raises money for The Exchange Arts Centre, Wells for Africa and Trees for the Future.org (reforestation charity).
